Who we are

Get Seen Online is a service from Red Sentence Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 09033053), registered office Steward House, 14 Commercial Way, Woking, England, GU21 6ET. We are the data controller for the information you send us.

What we collect

When you fill in our site check form we collect your name, email address, the link to your website (if you give one), which tool you built it with, the plan you’re interested in, anything you write in the message box, and which pages of this website you looked at before sending it (so we know which guides are useful). Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security.

Why we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, carry out the site check you asked for, and — if you become a customer — to provide our services. Our lawful basis is your request for us to take steps before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in running and securing our website.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your details or share them for marketing. They’re stored with the trusted providers we use to run our business, such as our email and website hosting providers, who only process them on our behalf.

How long we keep it

If you don’t become a customer, we delete your enquiry within 12 months. If you do, we keep your details for as long as we provide services to you and then as long as the law requires for our accounts.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies, and doesn’t use any tracking or advertising tools. While you browse, your own browser remembers which of our pages you’ve visited, for that tab only. Nothing is sent to us unless you submit the site check form, and it’s cleared when you close the tab.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you, or object to how we use them. Email hello@getseenonline.co.uk and we’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
